Police Scotland has sent a report to prosecutors regarding Peter Murrell, husband of former Scottish first minister Nicola Sturgeon, who was charged with embezzling SNP funds. The report follows Murrell's arrest and charge last month as part of Operation Branchform. The Crown Office will now decide if there is enough evidence to prosecute Murrell and whether it is in the public interest.
