Nigeria's House of Representatives is questioning the Federal Ministry of Health over the disengagement of a local vendor involved in a $100m malaria control project funded by the Islamic Development Bank. The committee has given Minister of Health, Professor Ali Pate, two weeks to provide a comprehensive report on the project, as the disengagement has stalled its implementation. Nigeria contributes significantly to global malaria cases and deaths.
