A missing rafter's body was found on the Willow River near Prince George, following extensive search efforts by local police, an RCMP helicopter, and 18 search and rescue volunteers. The rafter was reported overdue by his family on May 20, and search teams spent over 150 person-hours searching the river where the man had launched. The recovery was announced in an official news release on May 22.
