Human skeletal remains discovered in Horry County; criminal investigation underway.
Human skeletal remains were discovered in Horry County on Highway 319 and Highway 22. Authorities, including Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard, are conducting a criminal investigation and will use a forensic anthropologist, odontologist, and collect DNA to identify the remains.
