Former teenage speedway racing champion Tyler King, who killed his sister's abusive boyfriend in excessive self-defence, was jailed for six years and nine months for manslaughter.
Former teenage speedway racing champion Tyler King has been jailed for six years and nine months after he killed his sister's abusive boyfriend, Jesse Tattersall, in excessive self-defence. The Newcastle Supreme Court heard that King had walked in on Tattersall assaulting his sister and pleaded guilty to manslaughter. King's parole eligibility is from July 2027.
