Armagh and Melbourne star Aimee Mackin faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines after suffering a second ACL injury. The 2020 Footballer of the Year and three-time All-Star injured her knee during Armagh's Ulster final win over Donegal. Mackin, who also suffered the same injury in 2019, is now expected to miss the 2024 AFLW season with her club Melbourne, dealing a blow to Armagh's All-Ireland contender status.
