Flamingos died in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area after colliding with Emirates flight EK-508.

Almost 36 flamingos were killed in Mumbai's Ghatkopar area after colliding with an incoming Emirates flight. The flight, EK-508, carrying over 300 passengers, landed safely at Mumbai airport. The Mangrove Protection Cell and the Resqink Association for Wildlife Welfare conducted a search operation and found the dead flamingos in the area. The cause of the flamingos flying into the Emirates aircraft is under investigation.
