A federal judge has approved a $600 million class action settlement for last year's Norfolk Southern derailment in eastern Ohio, but many residents near East Palestine still question their payout. The settlement addresses claims against the railroad, rail car owners, and chemical manufacturer responsible for the vinyl chloride released in the derailment. Lawyers involved in the case will return to the community to provide additional information.
