ESA selects The Exploration Company and Thales Alenia Space for a €75M ISS cargo vehicle project by 2028.
The European Space Agency (ESA) has selected The Exploration Company and Thales Alenia Space to develop a cargo vehicle for transport to the International Space Station (ISS) by 2028. ESA is following NASA's model by purchasing services from private firms rather than developing them in-house. The agency aims to invest up to €75 million into the project and may select a third proposal in the future.
