Dhaka tribunal extends bail for Nobel Laureate Prof Muhammad Yunus and three directors of Grameen Telecom till July 4 in a labour law violation case. The Labour Appellate Tribunal, chaired by MA Awal, granted the extension and set July 4 for hearing the appeal filed by Yunus and the directors against a previous labour court sentence. In January, the court had sentenced the four to six months' imprisonment and a fine for violating labour laws.
