Top Gun: Maverick actor Glen Powell has left Hollywood and moved back to his home state of Texas, citing advice from fellow Texan Matthew McConaughey. Powell, who lived in Los Angeles for over 15 years, told The Hollywood Reporter that he recently relocated to Austin, where he can be closer to his family and finish his degree at the University of Texas. McConaughey likened Hollywood to 'the Matrix', emphasizing its artificiality compared to the authenticity of life in Austin.
