78-year-old woman's release from Nari Niketan delayed 2 years due to clerical error in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh. Governor Anandiben Patel granted mercy petition in 2022, but release was delayed as clerk Ashish Kumar, unaware of filing bond procedure, kept the file for 10 months. District Magistrate Rakesh Kumar Singh recommended clerk's suspension and forwarded the bond to Nari Niketan, Lucknow for release.
