32-year-old Nigerian, Pascal Okafor Ezugwu, has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for attempting to smuggle 90 cocaine pellets weighing 1.54 kg at Ghana's Kotoka International Airport. Ezugwu was arrested on 21st February 2024 and charged with three counts of narcotic offenses. The National Narcotics Control Board (NACOC) has reaffirmed its commitment to preventing drug trafficking and ensuring public safety.
