Armed police arrested a 24-year-old man with a weapon near Pitteuchar East Primary School in Glenrothes, Fife. Teachers were instructed to take pupils inside for safety, with no threat to the public. The incident occurred on Glendevon Road at around 08:30, and the man was arrested for possession of an offensive weapon.
