51-year-old inmate dies in custody at Snohomish County Jail after becoming unresponsive during evaluation. The man was booked in for a protection order violation. Medics from the Everett Fire Department attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive him. A death investigation by the Sheriff's Office Major Crimes Unit is underway. This is the fifth inmate death at the jail since September.
