41-year-old hiker was rescued from a slippery ledge in Strathcona Park after his iPhone's automatic fall-detection system sent out a distress call. The injured Victoria man, who had fallen and injured his leg, used the phone's satellite feature to call 911. Comox Valley Search and Rescue Team members were airlifted to the scene, where they rescued the hiker and transported him to safety.
