Williams-Sonoma reported a 5.4% decline in Q1 revenue to $1.66bn from $1.755bn in the same period last year, but its profit rose 68% to $265.666m, or $4.07 per share, from $156.5m, or $2.35 per share, in Q1 2021. The retailer's earnings surpassed analyst expectations of $2.70 per share. The company maintained its annual revenue growth guidance of negative 3% to positive 3% and comparable store sales growth of negative 4.5% to positive 1.5%.
