Virgin Group partners with Synchrony Financial and Mastercard Inc. for a new US travel-focused credit card, the Virgin Red Rewards Mastercard, to be launched in the second half of this year. Consumers will earn "Virgin Points" on travel-related purchases and purchases outside Virgin Group-affiliated companies. Synchrony will be the exclusive issuer while Mastercard will serve as the exclusive payments network.
