The UK government and Northern Ireland Executive have reached an agreement on an interim Fiscal Framework, providing £3.3bn in funding and a new needs-based funding formula for Northern Ireland. The deal aims to boost public services and invest in infrastructure to drive job growth. In addition, the UK government has agreed to review the future funding model for Stormont, granting an extra £24m to the Executive this year.
