Trinamool Congress urges West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer to act against BJP leader linked to cash seizure.
The Trinamool Congress (AITC) has urged the West Bengal Chief Electoral Officer to take immediate action against BJP leader Samit Mondal, who appeared alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi at a public event and was later linked to a police seizure of Rs. 35 lakhs in unaccounted cash. AITC has also criticised the transfer of the SP of Paschim Medinipur, claiming it was arbitrary and unjust.
