73 threatened native Australian species receive a $24M boost from the Albanese Labor Government to support habitat restoration, captive breeding, and combating invasive species. This includes 61 projects awarded up to $500,000 to protect endangered frogs, birds, fish, invertebrates, mammals, reptiles, and plants. Funding supports efforts to reduce the risk of extinction for 110 priority plants and animals within the 10-year Threatened Species Action Plan.
