Qatar and Nicaragua held their first round of political consultations, signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral cooperation relations. The discussions, led by Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Sultan bin Saad Al Muraikhi, and Nicaragua's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Denis Ronaldo Moncada Colindres, resulted in both countries agreeing to exempt each other's nationals from visa requirements.
