Pakistan's fast bowler Hasan Ali has been released from the T20 World Cup squad ahead of the England series, allowing him to continue playing for Warwickshire in county cricket. Ali was initially included as a backup for injured Haris Rauf, but Rauf has now recovered and will participate in the T20I series against England. Pakistan's squad has been reduced to 17 for the T20 World Cup in the United States and West Indies, which begins on June 1st.
