Oscar-winner Holly Hunter is set to star in the upcoming Star Trek: Starfleet Academy series as the captain and chancellor of the titular academy. The series, produced by CBS Studios, will follow the adventures of a new class of Starfleet cadets as they come of age in one of the most legendary places in the galaxy. Production for the series is expected to begin later this summer.
