NFF writes open letter to PM, stating loss of trust in federal government representation for farmers, following a walk-out and recent live sheep export ban.

The National Farmers' Federation (NFF) has written an open letter to Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, expressing that farmers across Australia no longer trust the federal government to represent their interests. The letter follows the NFF's walk-out on Federal Agriculture Minister Murray Watt's budget address, as well as decisions that have pushed farmers away, such as the recent ban on live sheep exports from 2028.
