New Zealand's Ministry of Health published a positive evaluation of Ngā Paerewa Health and Disability Services Standard NZS 8134:2021 by Malatest International. Stakeholders, including providers and auditors, praised HealthCERT's accessibility, responsiveness, and coordination with Designated Auditing Agencies. The Ngā Paerewa standard includes more person- and whānau-centered assessment criteria and a stronger focus on meeting Te Tiriti o Waitangi obligations.
