NC Ferry Division increases ferry routes and departures to Ocracoke Island ahead of Memorial Day. From May 23rd, ferry routes between Cedar Island and Ocracoke, and between Swan Quarter and Ocracoke, will increase services from 6 to 8 daily departures, with the Ocracoke Express passenger ferry starting its sixth season, operating 8 departures on Tuesdays through Fridays, and 6 on Saturdays through Mondays.
