Monarch High School cleared of transgender student sports act violation, fined $16,500.

Monarch High School's principal and two staff members have been cleared of allegations they violated Florida's "Fairness in Women's Sports Act" by allowing a transgender girl to play on the girls' varsity volleyball team. The School District's Special Investigative Unit conducted the investigation, and the school was fined $16,500. The investigation into the student's participation in middle school sports continues.
