Microsoft and Khan Academy have partnered to make Khan Academy's AI tutor, Khanmigo, free for US educators. With Microsoft's Azure OpenAI Service support, the AI tool will provide K-12 educators with lesson planning, student performance analysis, and resource recommendations. Microsoft will also work with Khan Academy on small language models for student math tutoring using its Phi-3 model.
