Mexican energy developer Gato Negro Permitium Uno, with Houston-based Big River Energy, seeks US approval to export gas to Mexico, convert it into LNG, and send it to countries with US free-trade agreements. They plan to build four LNG processing plants in Manzanillo, Mexico to produce up to 4 million tonnes of LNG per annum. The project is part of a series of initiatives to convert US gas into LNG and meet global demand.
