22 May 2024: A suspicious house fire in Canberra's Holt suburb led to the discovery of a deceased person inside the home on Giltinan Place. Police and ACT Fire & Rescue extinguished the blaze, which was reported around 2:50 am. The authorities are treating the fire as suspicious and are urging witnesses or anyone who was in the area before 3 am to provide information through Crime Stoppers ACT.
