4 women elected to Augusta's city government for the first time in its history.

4 women, including incumbents Catherine Smith McKnight and Francine R. Scott, will represent Augusta's city government for the first time in its nearly 300-year history. Also retaining their seats are Jordan Johnson (District 1) and Tina Slendak (District 7). Augusta Commissioner Don "D.C." Clark won a seat, defeating incumbent Bobby Williams. These results mark a historic first for the city.
