IGN Entertainment acquires Gamer Network Limited, including Eurogamer and Rock Paper Shotgun, from ReedPop.
IGN Entertainment, a part of Ziff Davis' entertainment division, has acquired Gamer Network Limited and its owned websites, including Eurogamer, Rock Paper Shotgun, and other IGN competitors, from ReedPop for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition expands IGN Entertainment's reach in the gaming, tech, and entertainment industries. This deal also led to some layoffs within the Gamer Network.
