Grocery inflation in the UK has dropped to its lowest level since October 2021 at 2.4%, as food price inflation rates return to normal. Own-label lines, making up over half of total spending, are growing faster than brands, with premium own-label ranges experiencing a 9.9% increase. This trend coincides with Lidl reaching a new record-high market share of 8.1%, and Tesco and Sainsbury's maintaining market shares at 27.6% and 15.1% respectively.
