EU new car sales rose 13.7% in April, marking the largest monthly increase since October 2021, according to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA). Major markets including Spain, Germany, France, and Italy drove the sales growth, while an early Easter provided two extra sales days. Battery electric and hybrid-electric car sales also increased by 14.8% and 33.1%, respectively.
