Dust storms close interstates in Central Illinois, prompting low to zero visibility on some roadways. The National Weather Service at Lincoln issued a warning for Champaign, DeWitt, Logan, McLean, Macon, Piatt, Tazewell, Vermilion, and Woodford counties, urging drivers to never enter a dust storm and "PULL ASIDE STAY ALIVE!" The affected area includes Interstates 72, 57, and 74, as well as U.S. 10 near Champaign, I-74, I-55, U.S. 150, and U.S. 51 near Bloomington-Normal, I-72, U.S. 36, and U.S. 51 near Decatur, and I-74, US-150, US-136 near Danville.
