House lawmaker Lucy McBath wins the Democratic primary for Georgia's newly redrawn 6th Congressional District seat, previously held by her. McBath, currently representing Georgia's 7th District, ran for the new seat after Republican state lawmakers redrew her existing district in favor of the GOP. McBath overcame fellow Democrats Cobb County Commissioner Jerica Richardson and state Rep. Mandisha Thomas in the primary race.
