13 crew members were rescued by the Indian Coast Guard (ICG) from a distressed fishing vessel off the Kerala coast after sea water entered the engine compartment. The ICG swiftly rescued the stranded Indian fishing boat, which was 31 nautical miles off the Chavakkad coast, providing vital technical assistance despite challenging weather conditions. The vessel was de-flooded and the crew safely returned to Munambam harbor.
