The Corporate Affairs Ministry fined Microsoft-owned LinkedIn India, CEO Satya Nadella, and eight others for violating significant beneficial owner norms under the companies law. LinkedIn India and the individuals failed to report according to the Companies Act, 2013, leading to penalties. The total fines amounted to ₹27,10,800, with each of Nadella, LinkedIn CEO Ryan Roslansky, and the other individuals receiving fines of ₹2 lakh each.
