International lawyers representing the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) have accused Apple of sourcing minerals from conflict areas in the east of the country, urging the tech giant to answer questions about its supply chain. The lawyers claim to have new evidence from whistleblowers, and are evaluating legal options. Apple has not yet responded to the allegations, which were communicated to the company on April 22.
