Chinese citizen journalist imprisoned for Covid-19 reporting.

Chinese citizen journalist Zhang Zhan, who was jailed for reporting on China's initial Covid-19 response in Wuhan, has been released from prison after serving four years. Zhang, a former lawyer, was detained in May 2020 and sentenced to four years in jail for "picking quarrels and provoking trouble" - a charge often used to suppress dissent. Despite her release, concerns have been raised about her limited freedom.
