Cascadia Liquor, owned by Truffles Group, allegedly broke the law during a strike by using prohibited replacement workers, as per an unfair labour practice (ULP) complaint filed by SEIU Local 2 at the BC Labour Relations Board. The complaint claims Cascadia violated BC Labour Relations Code by directing new hires and head office employees to perform duties typically done by striking workers. The workers are inviting the community to join a rally for Cascadia to respect workers' rights.
