Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin has sent cease and desist letters to two abortion pill companies, one based in New York and another in the Netherlands, for advertising the sale of abortion pills within Arkansas. Abortion is almost entirely illegal in the state, except in cases to save a mother's life. Griffin said the companies' actions violate Arkansas law and the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act.
