Amtrak has launched a new Borealis train service, connecting Chicago and St. Paul with daily trips via eight stops in Wisconsin. The service, which doubles passenger rail options in Wisconsin, offers an alternative travel choice for residents and visitors. With a journey time of just over seven hours and one-way coach fares starting at $40, the Borealis train complements existing Empire Builder and Hiawatha services between the cities.
