Former Polk Alternative School employee, Kiara Mourning, 29, has been arrested for allegedly providing or indicating she would provide marijuana and vape products to minors. Mourning, a special education interventionist, faces two counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The Cedar Rapids Community School District was informed of the allegations on February 21, and Mourning resigned the same day.
