73-year-old British man, Geoffrey Ralph Kitchen, died from a suspected heart attack during severe turbulence on a Singapore Airlines flight from London to Singapore. The plane, bound for Singapore, had to make an emergency landing at Suvarnabhumi International Airport in Bangkok, Thailand. Seven people were critically injured, and a total of 53 passengers were hurt, including Kitchen's wife and a crew member.
