Serious two-vehicle crash reported near Kirwee in rural Canterbury, emergency services rush to the scene; at least one person critically injured and airlifted to hospital. The crash occurred on Wards Road at 1:20 pm, between Aylesbury and Highfield roads, 40 km west of Christchurch. Fire and Emergency New Zealand (Fenz) and St John Ambulance are in attendance.
