Watkin Jones, a UK specialist in purpose-built student accommodation and build-to-rent developments, returned to profit in the first half, with revenue increasing 14% to £175.1m. The company's half-year results, ending 31st March 2024, showed a pre-tax profit of £2.1m, compared to a £0.8m loss in the previous year. The firm's total secured pipeline of projects now stands at £1.4bn.
