Prince Harry's lawsuit against News Group Newspapers (NGN), publishers of The Sun and the now-defunct News of the World, faced a setback as a UK High Court judge refused to allow the Duke of Sussex to broaden his legal action. While the judge granted permission for Prince Harry to amend specific parts of his claim, he dismissed his bid to introduce allegations of phone hacking from 1994, 1995, and 2016. NGN denies the allegations and the trial is scheduled for January 2025.
