Tamil Nadu government urges Centre for fishermen's release from Kuwaiti custody. Four fishermen from Ramanthapuram district, detained by the Kuwait Coastal Police, have been in prison since their arrest on December 5th. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin and Chief Secretary Shiv Das Meena have requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Ministry of External Affairs for diplomatic efforts to secure their release.
